The former residence of Zhao Xian Chu is located at No. 65, Beizha Street, Xitang Town. Zhao Xian Chu (1907-1999) was a renowned educator in contemporary China. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1928 and served as the deputy district head and vice chairman of Xuhui District, Shanghai, after the liberation.
The residence, facing east and standing west, is a two-story building with a hard mountain top, spanning three bays with a total width of 12 meters and a depth of 5.4 meters.
