The ruins of Du Yuesheng’s mansion in old Shanghai are the place where Du Yuesheng, a tycoon in old Shanghai, actually lived. The entire Du mansion is composed of a two-story Chinese-style shikumen building and a three-story building with Chinese and Western styles. The Du mansion was initially built in 1926. The entire construction area is 1062 square meters. The second-floor brick-wood structure and the materials used in the living room in the main building were all given to Du Yuesheng by Huang Jinrong back then. After liberation, the Du mansion was once used by the Huadong Peking Opera Troupe. In 1955, it was handed over to Dasheng Injection Needle Factory for use. Since 1973, it has been used by the Municipal Tool and Equipment Company. In the mid-1990s, a Chinese-Canadian bought it at a high price. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the opening situation on the day.
