Since 2000, Fulong has been hosting the annual Gongliao Ocean Music Festival on its beach every summer, which is a highly anticipated event because it is free of charge. Now, every summer, rock music lovers flock to Fulong. Among the 319 townships, each selecting one specialty product, Fulong was chosen for its ‘bento boxes’. The platform bento at Fulong Station is also quite famous; many people have the memory of buying bento during the three-minute stop on the Beihui Line train. Nowadays, there are two well-known bento shops in front of the train station, each with its unique offerings. Almost no one visits Fulong without trying the bento. The bathing beach is open year-round from 08:00 to 17:30. The long sandy spit creates a beautiful beach environment in Fulong. Besides swimming, activities such as beach volleyball and sand sculpting are also very popular. Longmen Seashore Area is suitable for visitors to experience kayaking, and the Wai’ao Service Area is ideal for surfing and paragliding!
