The Fushan Fishery Conservation Area is located to the north of Taitung City and Jialulan, and was once a popular sea bathing spot in Taitung County
After being declared a no-fishing zone in 2005, it has become a coastal attraction on the east coast with a rich intertidal ecosystem
Fishing and angling are strictly prohibited, and any construction without an environmental assessment is not allowed
Visitors can enjoy the stunning azure sea and sky, as well as the interplay of volcanic rocks and coral reefs in the intertidal zone
Unique to this area is the sea fish protection walkway, which allows visitors to walk into the ocean and experience the feeling of being surrounded by the tide
The area is open year-round from 8:00 to 17:00, with specific operating conditions subject to the day’s opening status
