The remains of the Gangzi Liao Fort area are exceptionally well-preserved, featuring various facilities such as barracks, command posts, bunkers, and ammunition depots. What’s more intriguing is the communication hole between the gun platform and the observation deck, which is a distinctive feature of the fort and adds a touch of interest. Standing here, one can also enjoy the beautiful view of the fishing harbor and Keelung Island during the dusk, with the scenery being incredibly picturesque. The fort is open all year round, accessible 24/7.
