The Guizi Pit Nature Trail is located in Guizi Pit Park in Beitou Daoxiangli, covering an area of approximately 10,000 square meters. Originally a porcelain clay mine, it became a popular destination for leisure activities after the hillside was developed. The city government’s first planned nature trail connects the Guizi Pit Nature Trail to the MRT Fuxinggang Station, which also includes a direct route to Guizi Pit Park via the MRT Green Corridor Trail. Visitors can observe some of Taipei’s older geological strata nearby, and parts of the trail are equipped with interpretive diagrams that combine hydrological and geological observations. The trail boasts a rich and diverse array of flora and fauna. The park is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
