According to historical records, the great literary figure Su Shi began his legendary journey in Hainan from this very spot when he first set foot on Qiongzhou land. As history marched on, the Haikou Old Wharf in the north and the Sanya Yazhou Port in the south were like two shining pearls, together they formed a prosperous maritime trade network. Today, the Haikou Old Wharf stands out as a dazzling pearl on the modern Maritime Silk Road, becoming a unique window for Haikou’s communication with the world. The Dongpo Old Wharf in Haikou is a city cultural, tourism, and commerce masterpiece meticulously crafted by Hainan Travel Investment, and it is also a key project in the province’s efforts to ‘protect and utilize Dongpo culture’ to create a new cultural tourism consumption complex. The project, centered around Dongpo culture and supported by wharf culture and local Hainan culture, is dedicated to building a distinctive immersive Dongpo cultural living district in China. Here, you can almost travel through time and space to personally experience the talent and grandeur of Mr. Dongpo in his time, and appreciate the profoundness of Dongpo culture.

Preferential policies for infants: Infants under the age of 2 must present valid documents such as ID cards, household registration books, or birth certificates to receive free infant tickets at the ticket inspection points of each boarding wharf. Each adult is limited to bringing one infant under 2 years old for a free cruise. Free children: Children over the age of 2 and under the age of 6 must purchase a child ticket, which is 50% of the adult ticket price. Additional note: The aforementioned preferential policies require on-site ticket purchase.
