Recreated Hemudu Ancient Village, located in Hemudu Village, is about 25 kilometers away from Yuyao. It showcases the unique charm of modern presentation techniques harmoniously integrated with the primitive and simple style; vividly recreating the living and production conditions of ancient Hemudu people, the natural ecological environment, and the partial features of the original tribes; directly creating the atmosphere of ancient agricultural civilization; and vividly reflecting the productive development status seven thousand years ago and the rich cultural connotations of the ancestors’ conquest of nature and the continuation of life.
Within the ancient village, the dilapidated thatched houses covered with coarse straw, the rough and primitive layout, the enchanting ancient music, and the mysterious atmosphere, all evoke a sense of vigor and vitality, making one feel as if they have become a robust and energetic Hemudu person from seven thousand years ago.
The village is open all year round from 8:30 to 17:00.
