Henry Lee, an international forensic expert, is from Rugao. The museum houses a large number of pictures, audio-visual materials and physical materials donated by him. Among them, the forensic tools used by Henry Lee and various medals he has obtained are particularly precious, as if bringing people to the crime scene of various international cases. Dr. Henry Lee was born in Changxiang, Rugao City in 1938. He went to study in the United States in 1965. In 1998, he became the director of the Connecticut State Police Department and became the Chinese-American police chief at the state level in the United States. He has played an important role in major cases such as the O.J. Simpson murder case and forensic investigations after the ‘9/11’ incident. Although the museum is not well-known and there are not many tourists, when forensic enthusiasts see tools such as tweezers, bottles, rulers, and magnifying glasses used for forensic identification, they will still be very excited. Opening hours: Open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00. Must-see tips? On October 18, 2015, Rugao City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the relocation and expansion of the Henry Lee Forensic Science Museum. If the new museum is completed, it will be located in the flower and tree scenic area in the south of the city.
