The bay’s terrain gradually deepens from shallow to deep waters, with varying wave conditions, creating two excellent surfing spots: one on the right side of the bay where rocks are present, with a beach extending into the sea and waves ranging from 2 to 10 feet high. Nearby Honeymoon Bay in Toufen Township, Yilan County, there is a grassy area suitable for camping, offering a breathtaking view of the sea and sky to soothe one’s spirit. Additionally, in the vicinity of Honeymoon Bay, there are numerous tourist attractions worth revisiting, such as the Daxi Fishing Harbor, Taoyuan Valley, Caoling Ancient Trail, Bei Guan Seaside Park, and Shipanliao Waterfall, allowing you to explore the scenic northeast coast.
