Huatai Scenic Area Introduction: The Huatai Scenic Area showcases the spirituality and beauty of Jiuhua Mountain! The magical ‘Sleeping Buddha’ is located in Huatai. Due to its resemblance and appropriateness to the origin of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s ‘enduring patience like the earth, deep and secret contemplation like a hidden treasure’, it is regarded as the manifestation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva by believers and is called ‘spiritual’. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is in charge of great vows. Entering Huatai is like seeing the ‘Buddha’s face’. Tourists and pilgrims come in droves to tell their wishes. Many peaks and scenic spots in the scenic area also carry magical legends and beautiful meanings, such as ‘Dagu Peak’, ‘Zhongfeng Peak’, ‘Huixian Peak’, ‘Buddhist Gate’, ‘Precept Stone’, ‘Auspicious Pine’, etc. Huatai Scenic Area is known as ‘the most beautiful place in Jiuhua Mountain’! Naturally, it is the embodiment of ‘beauty’. April to June every year is the season when mountain flowers in the scenic area bloom, and it has the reputation of a flower market on the heavenly street! Must-see tips: 1. Jiuhua Mountain has many foggy days, especially in spring and autumn. Although climbing Huatai in spring can enjoy rhododendrons, if you encounter foggy days, the scenery will be greatly reduced and the strange peaks and rocks in the distance cannot be seen. Fog often brings drizzle, so be prepared with a rain poncho. 2. Climbing Huatai in winter can see beautiful snow scenery. However, for tourists taking the Huatai-Tiantai crossing route, be prepared for anti-slip. Because not many people take the crossing route in winter, the snow and ice on this road may not be removed in time. You can tie simple nail claws or straw soles to your shoes. These are sold in small shops on Jiuhua Street. 3. Even if you take the cableway up and down the mountain, the road to climb on the mountain is still very tiring. It is recommended to travel light.
