Huilongtan Park

Adjacent to the Confucius Temple in Jiading, there is a garden. As five water flows such as Hengli River converge here, resembling ‘five dragons playing with a pearl’, it is named Huilongtan. In the park, mountains, waters, pavilions and attics are integrated in harmony, beautiful and elegant, contrasting charmingly with the simplicity and grandeur of the Confucius Temple. The mountain island in the pool is named Yingkui Mountain and was built in 1460, the fourth year of Tianshun in the Ming Dynasty. At the top of the mountain, there is a pavilion named Lingyun Pavilion. Standing in the pavilion, one can overlook the panoramic view of Huilongtan. Other scenic spots include Kuixing Pavilion, Hundred Birds Paying Homage to Phoenix Platform, etc. Opening hours: Open from 07:30 to 17:00 all year round.
