Jiajing Island, located in the Shimei Bay waters, is a pristine uninhabited island where the sea water is so clear that you can see the bottom, with visibility reaching over ten meters. As you walk into the shallow waters, you can easily spot sea stars, sea cucumbers, and living corals. The island has even attracted the film ‘If You Are the One 2’ to shoot scenes here.
Due to the island’s very primitive nature, most visitors to the island join tour groups to visit. The southern coast of the island is rugged and full of rocks, making it an excellent spot for fishing. The northern and western coasts are relatively flat, with a vast array of coral reefs and a variety of colorful tropical fish in the surrounding underwater areas, creating a spectacular underwater garden, which is truly a diver’s paradise. The island is open all year round from 08:00 to 19:00.
