Jing’an Park is located opposite Jing’an Ancient Temple. The park is in a convex shape. It faces Middle Yan’an Road in the south, Huashan Road in the west, and residences in the east. After more than 40 years of development, the park has now become a fresh and elegant urban oasis in the city center. Jing’an Park takes 32 century-old plane trees on the central avenue as the center. At the entrance of the main gate in the north is the Ginkgo Square of Jing’an Park scenery. The east is a historical and cultural space. Based on the ancient ‘Eight Scenes of Jing’an’, using traditional gardening techniques of seeing the big from the small and blocking the depth of field, the ‘Eight Scenes Garden of Jing’an’ is built. In the southeast is a undulating viewing lawn. In the open area in the west, taking advantage of the height difference between the high dome of Jing’an Temple Station of the subway and the ground, mountains are piled up and waters are managed according to the terrain. A large artificial rockery waterfall is built. Precious flowers and trees are planted on the hillside, and a viewing platform is set up. It is known as a magnificent ‘urban mountain forest’ landscape and has become a space for modern metropolises to experience natural landscapes. Jing’an Park develops plant diversity. There are more than 300 kinds of plant species. The aquatic plants in the ornamental pool in the park are more attractive to Chinese and foreign tourists. Opening hours: Open all day all year round. The specific opening hours are subject to the on-site announcements of the scenic spot.
