The Jiu’ao Lighthouse is located in Jiu’ao and was constructed in 1887, making it one of the earliest lighthouses in the local architecture. Standing at a height of 14 meters and circular in shape, it was built using advanced masonry techniques of the time. Situated at the southern tip of Jiu’ao Island, it serves as a significant navigational marker and is one of the tourist attractions. The lighthouse is open all year round, accessible 24/7. However, it is currently closed, allowing only exterior visits. Please check the specific operational status on the day of your visit.
