Jiufeng Mountain Wang’ao Scenic Area

Wang’ao Scenic Area is one of the five constituent scenic spots of Jiufeng Mountain Tourism Area. It is traversed by a canyon over 2600 meters long and includes numerous attractions such as Xiushan Li Jing (Entrance Landscape Area), Huaxi Rambling Area, Leisure Activity Area, Longtan Qiyu Area, and Shimen Feihong Area. Upon entering the scenic area, one is greeted by an outdoor barbecue field with rising smoke. Passing the barbecue field and crossing Wolong Bridge, one finds Qiyu Altar and Qiyu Hall, which were built by the local people in the past to pray for favorable weather conditions. Strolling along the path, one is surrounded by lush greenery and the murmuring of springs, with the Longtan waterfall cascading like a silver curtain before the eyes. Further up, one reaches the Songfeng Tea Manor, where not only can one rest, but also admire the summit of Jiufeng from the platform. The scenic area is open from January 1st to December 31st from 08:00 to 16:00, except in special circumstances such as typhoons and blizzards.
