Kang Gong Temple has a history of 200 years. The main hall enshrines Kang Gong Zhenjun, also known as Li Lie, a general from the Han Dynasty who was rewarded for his contributions to the nation and became known as Kang Gong. To the left stands the King of the South China Sea Guangli Hongsheng Tang, and to the right is the King of Xishan Jinsheng. In front of the side hall is the statue of the Sixth Patriarch, and behind it is the revered ancient physician Hua Tuo. In the center of the hall stands the ‘Wine Ship Stone’, which was carved during the reign of Emperor Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty, featuring a ship, a carp leaping over the Dragon Gate, auspicious dragons and phoenixes, and cranes symbolizing longevity.
