Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park is located at the junction of Nanzi District in Kaohsiung City and Qiaotou in Kaohsiung County, covering an area of approximately 35 hectares
It boasts vast and flat grasslands as well as forested green spaces
The park also features exquisitely landscaped swimming pools, ecological exhibition rooms, family game rooms, and a library
A prominent landmark within the park is the ‘Golden Rooster Sundial’, one of the twelve zodiac statues, which stands in the central square
Below the Golden Rooster, there is a bronze cast plate with a sundial map etched into it
The park is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day
