Lianjiang Tangshan Ridge Scenic Area

Tangshan Ridge, also known as Xie Jianzhang, stretches across the northern part of Lianjiang City, extending for several kilometers with a majestic presence. The main peak rises over 190 meters above sea level, resembling a green dragon guarding the city of Lianjiang.

At the summit stands a 118-meter-tall radio and television transmission tower with a coverage radius of 120 kilometers, reaching Zhanjiang, Maoming, and Guangxi’s Yulin, Hepu, as well as the Haikou area of Hainan Province, earning it the title of the tallest tower in Western Guangdong.

Surrounding the base of the mountain, there are more than ten ponds and reservoirs of varying sizes, shining like pearls on a young lady’s green skirt, occasionally reflecting shimmering silver light.

On the southern slope, there is a well-known ancient well called the Immortal’s Well. The scenic area is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
