Lingao Cape is located on the seaside 10 kilometers away from Lingao County. It is a cape protruding into the Qiongzhou Strait. At the top of the cape, there is a 250-meter-long tidal reef embankment directly inserted into the sea. Legend has it that this was left by immortals when guiding people. On the shore of Lingao Cape, there is a kilometer-long beach with white sand and clear water. It is one of the excellent swimming places on the west coast. The ‘Monument of Passion’ standing on the memorial square is a more remarkable sculpture here. It is composed of two standing stone statues of soldiers shouting for victory, showing the great historical significance here.
