Liu Yazi Memorial Hall

The Liu Yazi Memorial Hall is a building dating back to the Qing Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, and it is also a significant historical site of modern times. Originally, it served as the private residence of the Governor of Zhili during the Qing Dynasty, completed before 1780. The residence was named ‘Cifu Hall’, with a total of six sections and a deep alleyway measuring 92.9 meters in length. It covers an area of 2603 square meters, with a construction area of 2862 square meters, and consists of 101 individual rooms. The three existing brick-carved archways are tall, grand, and vividly lifelike, possessing extremely high artistic value.
As a specialized museum, the Liu Yazi Memorial Hall houses a rich collection of artifacts and materials related to Liu Yazi and the Nan Society, making it an important base for the collection, preservation, research, and display of Liu Yazi and Nan Society’s cultural relics and materials. It is open to the public year-round from 8:30 to 16:30.
