Lize Old Street is located downstream of the Dongshan River and serves as an important goods distribution hub in Yilan. For instance, the building housing Lisheng Hospital has long been a landmark of Lize Old Street, established in 1920 as one of the earlier Western-style constructions in the region. Additionally, Yong’an Palace, located on the old street, is an ancient temple where the incense is thriving and a must-visit pilgrimage site for tourists. The area is open to visitors from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM all year round.
