Longevity Valley

Longevity Valley is a tourist area with the theme of blessing and longevity culture. It is located at the eastern foot of Nanshan Mountain. The landform here follows the mountain trend and extends longitudinally in a valley shape, boasting charming tropical rainforest landscapes. The well-known landscapes of Longevity Valley include the copper ‘Amitayus Buddha’ and ‘Water Flowing Venerable One’, as well as the stone inscription ‘May your life be as long as the Nanshan Mountain’, which was inscribed by Mr. Qi Gong, a famous calligrapher in China. Longevity Valley also specially designed a corridor of longevity culture. Inside, there are two large stone inscriptions of ‘Blessed Sea and Longevity Mountain’ and ‘Pine and Crane Prolonging Life’. In the corridor, there are also inscriptions such as ‘Great Virtue Must Lead to Longevity’ by Mr. Chen Zuohuang, a famous master of Chinese calligraphy and seal carving, the poem ‘Aoshan’s Layers of Greenery’ by Huang Fangyong of the Ming Dynasty, as well as the Foutian seal composed of strange characters and the Hundred Longevity Picture. Open all year round and all day long.
