The 120th meridian east is the baseline for ‘Beijing Time’. Around the world, tourist landmarks with special geographical locations are always favored. The Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, and the Equator Monument in Ecuador are all buildings marked with geographical symbols that have become landmarks for cities and even countries. As a Chinese city that the 120th meridian east passes through, Changzhou has established the 120th meridian east as the main landscape axis in the northern part of the city. It connects the Longitude 120 Park, the Longitude 120 Landscape Boulevard, and the 5A national tourism scenic area Global Dinosaur City, creating a golden landscape route that integrates tourism, ecology, science popularization, sports leisure, and commercial finance.

The Longitude 120 Observation Tower stands on the Tokyo 120 meridian that traverses the world and marks Beijing Time, located at the core of the Dino Water Town Square in Global Dinosaur City. As one of the highest rotating observation towers in China, it is 120 meters high, can carry nearly a hundred people at a time, and takes a full 10 minutes to rotate and rise, offering a panoramic view of the entire Global Dinosaur City from the top.
