Lovers’ Bay, also known as Whale Breathing Bay, is named after its location at the foot of Sanya’s Love Mountain – Luhuitou Mountain. It is situated further south and away from the city, opposite to Sanya Bay. It is 5 nautical miles from the coast of Sanya and falls within the coral protection area. It is a small and tranquil bay.
Lovers’ Bay boasts more than ten crescent-shaped beaches of various sizes, each with its unique characteristics. The bay features several kilometers of white sandy beaches with fine, soft, and pure white sand, earning it the accolade of ‘Platinum Embankment Gifted by the Sea’.
Opening hours are from 8:00 to 17:30 all year round.
