Lu Li Ancient Village

Lu Li Ancient Village is located in the northwest of Xishan, named after Mr. Lu Li, a famous hermit from the Han Dynasty who lived in seclusion here, and is home to historical sites such as Zhengjing Port, Yongning Bridge, Nanxing Bridge, and Changshou Temple.
Yuwang Temple, located in Lu Li Ancient Village, was originally built in the third year of the Datong period of the Southern Dynasties’ Liang Dynasty (537) in memory of Yu the Great’s water management in Taihu Lake and Xishan. The temple features yellow walls, clear tiles, and upturned corners and eaves, standing out among the vast expanse of Taihu Lake.
