Macau Lin Zexu Memorial Hall

There are many precious historical materials in the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, including the desk used by Lin Zexu when he summoned Portuguese officials in Macau at Lianfeng Temple. There are also memorials to Emperor Daoguang on his efforts in banning, destroying opium and making inspections. Inside the imperial stele pavilion of the memorial hall are three bluestone steles such as ‘imperial decree’ and ‘imperial sacrificial grant’. To the north of the pavilion is Shudetang, where a seated statue of Lin Zexu is enshrined. The whole hall is a classical garden-style architecture. Opening hours: Open from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, 9:00 – 17:00. Service facilities: Toilets. Barrier-free service: Barrier-free toilets.
