The scenic area is located by the picturesque Dàquán Lake in the historic Zhuzhèn, Luhé District, Nanjing (50 kilometers from downtown Nanjing), covering an area of 8255 mu (with a water area of 3713 mu). It is planned, invested, constructed, and operated by Suzhou Maple Colorful Ecological Technology Group Co., Ltd., with an investment of over 1 billion yuan. The scenic area consists of four main themes: sightseeing, forest experience, leisure and entertainment, and health and wellness.
The main attractions include a dreamy flower sea, a flower sea bell tower, begonia garden, evergreen garden, magnolia garden, pear flower garden, wealthy flower garden, colorful forest, wetland park, peacock garden, dinosaur world, squirrel home, maple forest bird world, pet paradise, children’s paradise, Chanel pastry house, high-quality delicious snacks, water entertainment, and open-air movie barbecue parties.
The Maple Colorful City scenic area boasts a vibrant display of colors in spring, a competitive bloom of flowers in summer, a richly colored forest in autumn, and a still colorful winter.
Operation hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00 all year round; closed all day on Mondays.
Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) enter for free with an adult who has the ability to supervise safely; children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.5 meters (not including) enjoy half-price tickets. Elderly: People aged 60 (including) to 70 (not including) with valid identification (calculated by birthday) enjoy preferential tickets. Students: Full-time primary, middle, and high school students (excluding adult education and graduate students), limited to student IDs, enjoy preferential tickets.

Other notes: It is prohibited to bring large and aggressive dogs into the scenic area; other dogs must be leashed and owners must be mindful of avoiding pedestrians and cleaning up after their pets.
