Qiangzailiao Shi Mu Gong, located in Xinglong Li, Mei-Nong District, Kaohsiung City, is a temple dedicated to both the Stone Mother and Zheng Chenggong (Koxinga)
The Stone Mother is worshipped in the name of Zheng Chenggong’s mother, Tian Chuan
The temple’s origin stems from a giant stone in Qiangzailiao that resembles a woman, known as ‘Stone Mother’ or ‘Mother and Child Stone’
Locals visit this temple to pray when their children are ill or facing misfortune
In front of this giant stone, there are two other large stones that resemble pigs and sheep, which are offered as sacrificial gifts
The temple was later funded and built by devotees
