【About MIYAVI】

MIYAVI, internationally renowned rock guitarist, singer-songwriter, music producer, actor, and model. His unique slapping guitar playing style has attracted guitarists worldwide to imitate.

MIYAVI, formerly the guitarist for the visual kei rock band Due’le quartz, began his solo career in 2002. With a cool exterior, MIYAVI also harbors a love for peace and warmth, and in 2017, he was officially appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. After 21 years in the industry, he is a dedicated father of three children. Maintaining the peak of his appearance, he is also not afraid to break through himself and is committed to integrating world pop culture, using music to break down national borders.

In 2008, he embarked on a world tour, known for his high-energy and interactive live performances that attracted a large following. From 2011 to 2020, he conducted several tours with themes such as ‘WHAT’S MY NAME?’, ‘SLAP THE WORLD’, ‘Fire Bird’, ‘NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO’, and ‘Holy Nights’, showcasing his ever-evolving musical style.

In 2022, he was invited to perform at the tour of the world-renowned football team Paris Saint-Germain and opened the event. That same year, he started his 20th-anniversary tour ’20TH & BEYOND’. In July 2024, he performed and conducted the opening ceremony at the Los Angeles Dodgers’ home stadium. To date, MIYAVI has held six successful world tours, performing over 250 shows in 30 countries across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
