It was the bustling historical and cultural district of Gaoyou City during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The street was built in the Song Dynasty and flourished during the Ming and Qing dynasties, prospering in modern times, and is truly a key passage connecting the Lixiahe River, the Grand Canal, and the regions of Jiangsu and Anhui.

Visitors from the banks of the canal and cargo from the north and south of the river have continued for nearly 600 years until the 1940s, when it was severely damaged by war and a fire, gradually becoming desolate.

After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, with the restoration of the Yucheng Post Station by the Gaoyou Municipal Government from 1993 to 1995, this 230-meter-long Nanmen Street has been restored to its former glory and regained its vitality.

The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the actual opening conditions of the day.
