Songlan Mountain Seaside Resort is located 9 kilometers southeast of Xiangshan County Town on the seaside. Although the sea water here is not azure, there are vast flat beaches and a variety of water entertainment facilities, making it a quite good beach resort suitable for family leisure and self-driving tours. The beach resort is divided into the East and South areas. The East area has a more open beach with more paid entertainment options such as motorboats and sea bicycles, while the South area’s beach is muddy with better sand quality that generally does not stick to feet. During the peak season, there are always many tourists with children coming here to play. They enjoy the feeling of stepping in the water and digging in the sand on the beach, and swimming in the sea when it is warm is also great. Private cars can be driven to the parking lot inside the scenic area, which is quite convenient, but it can be crowded on weekends and holidays. There is a large hotel inside the scenic area for accommodation, which is a bit expensive. If you want to stay cheaper, there are some ordinary hotels at the entrance, or you can go back to Xiangshan County Town for accommodation with a higher cost-performance ratio. You can bring your own food for meals, and there are small shops on the beach to buy snacks. There are also seafood restaurants nearby where you can enjoy seafood and the seaside atmosphere. Opening hours are from July 1st to August 31st, 08:30-20:30; from May 1st to June 30th, 08:30-17:00; from September 1st to October 31st, 08:30-17:00; and from November 1st to April 30th, 08:30-16:30.
