No. 5 Boundary Stele of Qinzhou Prefecture in the Qing Dynasty

The No. 5 boundary stele of the Qing Dynasty is located under the Beilun River Bridge next to the current Dongxing Port. It was erected by Li Shoutong, the magistrate of Qinzhou Prefecture in the 13th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1890). It has a history of more than 100 years. Here was once the boundary stele representing the border between China and Vietnam. With the establishment of boundary stele No. 1369, now it is just a historical symbol. There are countless tourists who come here to take photos with it. The Dongxing Port where the No. 5 boundary stele of the Qing Dynasty is located is an important port for customs clearance between China and Vietnam. There are also scenic spots such as the Beilun River Bridge and Ho Chi Minh Pavilion around. The small street full of Vietnamese style is also worth a visit.
