Hai Zhi Yu Ocean World in Haikou is located in Guanlan Lake New City, Longhua District, Haikou City. It is a comprehensive marine park that integrates undersea landscapes, rare fish species, marine animal performances, rare animal viewing, marine environmental science education, parent-child and DIY educational activities, as well as catering and entertainment.
The park mainly showcases the unique fish of Hainan and the South China Sea, supplemented by terrestrial amphibians, and also features ornamental freshwater fish, various corals, jellyfish, and rare animals such as sea lions, seals, and turtles. There are also interactive areas where animals and people can interact.
Hai Zhi Yu Ocean World includes several themed venues such as the Chinese River Basin Freshwater Fish Exhibition Area, the Amazon Tropical Rainforest Area, the Miniature Ecological Exhibition Area, the Underwater Tunnel, the Mermaid Theater, the Interactive Touch Area, the Great Barrier Reef Ecological Pavilion, the Jellyfish Pavilion, and the Sea Lion Theater. Encounter the mermaid princess at the Mermaid Theater, and you can dance dangerously with sharks in the mysterious Great Barrier Reef Pavilion. The corals in the Great Barrier Reef Pavilion tell the stories of the sea, while the 360-degree curved aquarium displays the beauty of the deep sea. The Jellyfish Pavilion, illuminated by cold light, is 30 meters long, and the entire underwater tunnel is open all year round from 10:00 to 18:00. Mermaid Performance Times: 11:10, 14:40, 16:30; Sea Lion Performance Times: 11:30, 13:00, 15:00, 17:15; Sea Turtle Dance Performance Times: 11:00, 14:30 (subject to the actual situation at the scenic spot).
