Ages ago, in the mysterious east known as ‘Xulin’, where the sun rises, a strange darkness began to spread, and the sun ceased to rise. The guardian of the sun, a young man with the body of a bird and the face of a human, named ‘Mang’, inspired by the Chinese mythological figure ‘Gou Mang’, the god of trees and spring, bravely took on the responsibility to save the sun. He ventured into the mysterious forest, vowing to rekindle the light.
Deep within the forest, there are five mysterious areas with winding paths leading to secluded spots. On his journey through the forest, Mang encounters various surreal fantasies and seeks out the five elemental sources of water, wood, fire, metal, and earth. Each time Mang activates an elemental source, the sun’s energy is enhanced until the dawn reappears, radiating brilliance.

Now, as darkness strikes again, audiences will join Mang in adventuring through the five realms of Xulin, following his guidance, encountering forest spirits along the way, and exploring the five elemental sources to bring light back to the world.
