Panlong Mountain, also known as Panlong Mountain, Pan Mountain, or Long Mountain, is located in the southern part of Queshan County and is commonly referred to as the Southern Mountain by locals. The mountain features two peaks, the eastern peak stands at 233 meters, representing the dragon’s head; the western peak is 215 meters high, representing the dragon’s tail. The dragon’s head faces the Guanshan Mountain, forming a natural gateway, with a narrow passage about 1 kilometer long in between, through which the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway and Beijing-Shenzhen Highway pass, creating a strategic chokepoint for north-south traffic.

The mountain is open all year round, accessible 24/7, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
