Pigeon Nest Park

Pigeon Nest Park is a vast expanse with layered hills, towering ancient trees, and a variety of flowers and plants, where the sound of birds can be heard constantly. Within the park’s stone grotto stands a statue of Camões, and the ground features Portuguese stone paving patterns. The square is adorned with a fountain and a large-scale art sculpture titled ‘Embrace’. Open all year round, the park is accessible 24/7. A must-see guide for visitors: Pigeon Nest Park is about a 10-minute walk from the Ruins of St. Paul’s, and in contrast to the bustling Ruins of St. Paul’s, Pigeon Nest Park offers a much quieter atmosphere. Visitors here can explore Pigeon Nest Park, the headquarters of the Oriental Foundation, the Protestant Cemetery, and the Church of St. Anthony opposite, all of which are historical buildings within the ‘Historic Centre of Macau’.
