Qinglongshan Park

Qinglongshan Park is a great place for people in Zhoushan to relax and exercise. It is also a treasured place with good feng shui in Shenjiamen. There are many stories circulating about Qinglongshan. In the north-south direction of Qinglongshan, half of the dragon’s body embraces Shenjiamen. What the dragon’s head looks at is the famous Shenjiamen Fishing Port. And the dragon’s eyes are between Bingang Road and the top of the mountain. As long as you walk on the opposite Lujiashi, you will find eyes that seem to be half-open and half-closed but extremely majestic. At the foot of Qinglongshan, the first thing that catches the eye is a tall stone gate. There are five big characters on the stone gate – Qinglongshan Park. Entering the mountain gate of Qinglongshan Park, there is a path built along the mountain connected to the commemorative square. In the center of the square stands a revolutionary martyr monument made of reinforced concrete, which is 15 meters high (including a 2.8-meter-high pedestal), 11 meters long, and 6 meters wide. Climbing up the steep stone gate, there are many lush trees growing on both sides of the road. The branches are piled on top of one another without leaving any gaps. Chirping birds are excitedly calling among the woods. It is truly a vibrant scene.

When reaching the mountainside, there is a hexagonal pavilion. The top of the pavilion is carved with nine vivid dragons. They witness the magic of Qinglongshan. Taking a rest here makes people’s minds wander.

Following the stone path and continuing up, one arrives at the top of the mountain. Immediately, people feel relaxed and happy. The bustling Shenjiamen Fishing Port is fully visible. It is truly ‘Qinglong guards Shenjiamen land’. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the opening situation on that day.
