The Qingyun Tianpu Scenic Area is an important part of the Ningbo Wulongtan Scenic Area. It covers an area of 4.58 square kilometers and is composed of Qingyun Tianpu Waterfall, Tianmen, Shuimen Waterfalls, and Guanding Lake. The landscape is known for its’magnificence’, ‘danger’, and’splendor’, and is famous for its’strategic pass and dangerous ladder, unique stones and huge waterfalls’. It is an ecological tourist area where nature and humanity complement each other. Qingyun Tianpu Waterfall has 2008 stone steps and a vertical drop of more than 400 meters. The upper section of Qingyun Tianpu Waterfall has 1368 steps. Climbing the ladder is like ascending to the clouds. The Qingyun Tianpu Scenic Area is extremely rich in landscape resources. There are strange peaks and rocks, steep cliffs, deep gorges and valleys, bamboo forests, lakes, streams and waterfalls, tea slopes and fields, rural villages, and hydropower stations. There are also many folk legends, historical records, mountain dwellers, and folk customs. It is a scenic area that combines’magnificence’,’splendor’, ‘danger’,’steepness’, and’serenity’, integrating natural and human landscapes. It is a scenic area with dangerous ladders, magnificent waterfalls, secluded lakes, strange rocks, beautiful streams, and many stones. It is a tourist destination suitable for sightseeing, leisure, vacation, physical fitness, and popular science education.
Opening hours: In winter, open from 08:00 to 16:00 every day from Monday to Sunday. Admission stops at 16:00.
