The main variety of bayberries produced in the park, the ‘Biqi’ variety, are large, have small pits, and are delicious, considered the best among bayberries, maintaining a good reputation for many years.

Since bayberries grow on the mountain and it is summer, it is advisable to bring less snacks and more water before going up the mountain, and to bring sun protection equipment such as sun hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen. When picking bayberries, they should be picked one by one; if picked with branches, it will affect the growth of the bayberry trees in the following year. Bayberries are not only delicious but also refreshing, promoting saliva production, strengthening the spleen and warming the stomach, quenching thirst, relieving cough, and enhancing appetite. Bayberries can be eaten directly after picking without the need for washing or soaking.

The park is open from 7:00 to 17:00 all year round.
