Named after the famous San Yuan Pagoda located within the park.
The main entrance of the park is a red-roofed, four-pillared, three-bay marble-clad archway structure.
The park is divided into two parts: the front area serves as a venue for sports and entertainment activities; the rear area is a scenic spot for cultural relics and historical sites. Upon entering the park, one is greeted by several ancient banyan trees that remain evergreen throughout the seasons. According to experts, these ancient banyan trees are over two to three hundred years old and are listed by the forestry department as protected ancient trees. To the south of the ancient banyan trees stands the ‘Dequan Yishou Building’. This three-story building covers an area of over 600 square meters, is elegant and spacious, and is well-equipped, making it a popular entertainment center for the elderly in Leizhou City. In addition, there are open-air basketball courts, tennis courts, gateball courts, skating rinks, and stages, as well as restaurants, integrating tourism, sports, and entertainment. Visitors flock here daily, young and old, shoulder to shoulder. As night falls and the lights come on, it becomes a great place for the residents of Leicheng to take a walk and relax, with people of all ages coming from all directions. Some stroll hand in hand within the park, while others chat intimately under the shade of flowers. The park is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
