In addition to the shops, the government will also establish public facilities in the old street, such as gazebos, bus shelters, and an 180-meter-long California redwood boardwalk without using any iron nails. And all pipelines will be underground. A special one is the laundry place called ‘Black and White Washing’. It got this name because of the mixture of clear spring water and turbid leaked water from the reservoir. It was an indispensable laundry place for people in the early days.
