Shanxiabao Village was built during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty. The entire village is built according to the terrain of the mountain. Surrounded by mountains, the environment is beautiful and the forests are lush. Most of the houses in Shanxiabao Village are三合院 and四合院. The buildings are generally two stories. The first floor is for living, and the upper floor is for storing grain, production tools and sundries.
