Shi Hua Water Cave

Shi Hua Water Cave is a rare natural limestone cave in Danzhou, dating back approximately 1.4 million years. Inside the cave, there are variously shaped stalactites, with the most distinctive feature being the cave walls covered in unique stone flowers. These are delicate and dense, resembling clusters of blooming flowers.

There is also an underground river within the cave, which can be toured by boat. Although Shi Hua Water Cave is not very large, it embodies many characteristics of limestone caves, with stalagmites, stone pillars, and stone waterfalls as part of the scenery. Under the illumination of scenic lights, these features appear colorful and dazzling, especially the ‘one stone with two flowers’ that have developed within the cave – helictites, calcite flowers, and calcite crystal flowers, all of which are very precious cave landscapes.

Boating on the winding underground river is like wandering through the palace of the Dragon King, inspiring a wealth of imagination. The cave is open all year round from 08:00 to 18:30.
