Shihao’s Former Residence – Chaoyuan is located in Haishu District, Ningbo City.
According to historical records, Shihao, a native of Mingzhou (Ningbo, Zhejiang), was one of the prime ministers among the ‘three prime ministers in one family’ of the Southern Song Dynasty. Emperor Xiaozong of the Song Dynasty praised Shihao’s act of being loyal and serving the country. He bestowed the imperial winery located by the Moon Lake in Mingzhou to Shihao and renovated it into ‘Shoulefu’ for Shihao to live in peace.
