Shilin Cixian Palace, also known as Shilin Mazu Temple or historically referred to as Zhilan Temple, was established in the first year of the Jiaqing era during the Qing Dynasty. The temple is situated within the renowned Shilin Night Market in Shilin District, Taipei City, Taiwan. It is a temple with a layout of two main halls, two corridors, and two protective dragons. The temple primarily worships the Heavenly Mother. It is the only temple in Taipei City to retain three exquisitely crafted stages directly in front of it. The temple’s bluestone-paved ground stretches to the stage, demonstrating the grandiosity of the temple’s original design. The temple is open to the public from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM all year round.
