The Sun Yat-sen Municipal Memorial Park is a park located next to the Customs Gate in the north. The park was built for Sun Yat-sen who once lived here. There is a full-body bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen at the entrance. In the northeast of the park, there are artificial lakes, curved bridges, pavilions, and small attics. In the southwest, there are sports facilities and greenhouses. There is also a large steel sculpture named ‘Eternal Handshake’ in the park, which was erected to commemorate the friendship between China and Portugal.
