The Super Sea Palace is located in Lannancun, Fucheng Town, Leizhou City, Zhanjiang City. It was built in the Ming Dynasty. The existing building retains the four-entry and three-way courtyard layout when it was rebuilt during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the ‘Five Sea Temples’ in Leizhou. The Super Sea Palace has a unique shape and exquisite craftsmanship. In front of the palace, there are three-sided bluestone railings and a nautical beacon flagpole more than 10 meters high. The woodcarving craftsmanship is vivid. The outer eaves are molded with flowers, birds, insects, and fish, which are lifelike and seem to come out when called. In the archaize pattern on the ridge head, accessories such as wheat ears, peonies, and bats are added, which are vivid.
