The Ta-Kung Railway Story House, formerly known as Ta-Kung Parking Lot, a term used for train stations during the Meiji era in Japan, has preserved the appearance of the old station
It also features the pioneering Railway Information Room, which displays the ‘Railway Gazette’ from 1951 to the present day, as well as railway books and materials provided by the Railway Culture Association and researchers
The layout, tables, and chairs all reflect the working environment of the station staff from that era
Glass cabinets contain hats and uniforms of railway workers, which are also available for visitors to wear and take photos for free
Open all year round, from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00-18:00
