Taichung Train Station

Taichung Train Station, also known as ‘Taichung Station’, was constructed in 1917 and is a building in the style of a Renaissance Baroque-era post station. The central roof features a gable design, adorned with ornate medallions. The building is surrounded by a richly colored whitewashed stone belt that complements the red brick facade. The station serves as a transportation hub in Taichung and is a popular destination for many visitors. From here, one can board trains and buses to travel to Changhua, Nantou, and other surrounding areas. The station is open year-round from 6:00 AM to midnight.
